FAQ

Free Shipping Promotions:

For limited times, we offer free shipping on all orders over $75. This includes includes parcel and freight items. For orders less than $75, is it $19.95 for flat rate shipping. Shipping large podiums isn't cheap, but during these promotions it's on us! Order by the promotion end date to lock in your free shipping discount. Shipping services like liftgate for delivery or a residential/school/university delivery are extra as these approximate fees are charged to us by the shipping company based on your needs. What payment options do you accept? Financing?

Our payment processor Stripe accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club debit and credit cards. You can also checkout via Paypal. With Paypal, you can choose to use their "Paypal Credit" service as a financing option. We will also accept a check, but this will increase order processing time as we will need to wait for the check to be received and then cleared.

Do you charge sales tax?

We collect and remit sales tax for AZ, WY, and CA. You can submit sales tax exempt documentation to contact@podiumstop.com

What is the difference between a podium, lectern, and pulpit?

Most of our products are truly lecterns. A lectern is simply the structure a speaker or presenter stands behind and places their delivery materials or notes onto. A podium is actually the platform a person stands on to give a speech (think of a conductor's or winner's podium). But, in the United States, the word podium has become popular to refer to a lectern. At PodiumStop, we refer to podiums and lecterns interchangeably.

A pulpit is a lectern that is specifically intended to be used in a church or religious setting. They are often large and contain design elements that emit a sense of grandeur. 

When will I be contacted to confirm my order?

Please pay attention to the estimated ship date and estimated production lead time on your selected product's page.

If your item has options that weren't specified when ordering prior to shipping your order, a PodiumStop representative will contact you to confirm your preferred specifications. For all normal orders that do not require customization, we will send you a confirmation once your order ships. We will always provide tracking information when it is available. If your order contains a custom logo, or is a custom made-to-order podium, we will call and email you to confirm your specifications before beginning production.

How do I check the status of my order?

As soon as your order ships we will email with your shipping information and tracking number. This allows you to easily track the daily progress of your order from our warehouse to your door step. If your order requires a long production lead time, please be patient and wait the estimated time listed. We will contact you when it is ready to ship and provide tracking numbers automatically to the email address you supply.

Shipping Times:

In general, all stock podiums, lecterns, and accessories ship within 2 business days. We usually ship via FedEx and UPS ground, so most packages will come within a week of shipment. Please see our product page description tabs for an estimated time based on your location (see map). Also, please note that many of our products are custom and made-to-order, so please pay attention to production lead times listed on individual product descriptions. 

Larger/heavier products will require freight shipping (LTL). Freight shipments usually take less than 5 business days to reach you once they have been shipped. But, due to the more complicated logistics of transporting large and heavy goods, some LTL shipments take 7-10 days based on distance, weather, and other confounding factors.  Place your order today and leave the rest up to us. Our general Shipping Instructions can be found here.

Freight Truck / LTL Shipping:

For our freight shipments, we will assume that you require lift gate delivery. This shipping option comes standard when your product requires freight shipping and you qualify for free shipping. This means that your product will be lowered from the truck (via lift gate) to the curb. Standard delivery for these heavy items is curbside.  You will be responsible for getting the delivery onto your premises. You will be contacted once your product is ready to ship and a delivery date/time window will be scheduled. If you require inside delivery or white glove delivery services, please indicate during checkout and we can bill you the actual cost separately (upon your approval). AK, HI, PR, U.S. Territory Shipping

Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and U.S. territories must ship by air and is not valid with any free shipping promotions. Please contact us with your zip code and product selection so we can give you a quote on shipping.

International Orders:

At this time we do not ship outside of the U.S.A.

Can you ship to a P.O. Box?

At this time, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes due to the size of our products.

When will I be contacted regarding the delivery?

Immediately after your order has shipped, we will email you with your shipping information. For large/heavy orders including freight shipping our shipping carrier may call you prior to delivery to coordinate a delivery date. Please be patient as many of our items are made-to-order.
